Herbal Medicine: Akapulko
USES:
Treatment of tinea infections, skin diseases, insect bites, ringworms, eczema, scabies and itchiness.

Akapulko can also be used as mouthwash in stomatitis, alleviation of asthma, expectorant for bronchitis and dyspnoea symptoms. You can use this as a diuretic and purgative, for fever and cough such as laxative to expel. Intestinal parasites and other stomach problems. A strong decoction of the leaves is an abortifacient.

PREPARATION:
For external use:
Squeeze the juice of Akapulko and apply it on affected areas.

For internal use:
Cut the plant parts into a manageable size then soak and boil for 10-15 minutes let it cool and use as soos as possible.

Note:
the decoction looses its potency if not used for a long time. Dispose leftovers after one day.
